CABINET MAKER

Our Cabinet Makers play a pivotal role in the success of our business.

As an integral part of our assembly team we are looking for an experienced and diligent tradesperson to create quality joinery in our Salisbury factory.

How This Works
  • You will work autonomously with a wide range of equipment and other skilled tradespeople to achieve the best outcome for each project.
  • You have flexibility in your work hours through the use of our Flex system
  • You can select your work hours –
    We have 2 shifts available
    6.00 to 2.30pm Mon-Thurs (includes lunch) |  6.00 to 12.00pm Fri (no lunch)
    8.00 to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs (includes lunch) |  8.00 to 2.00pm Fri (no lunch)
  • You will be paid above industry rates which will increase based on demonstrated experience
  • You will find us located in Salisbury on Brisbane’s southside.
    On-street parking available and close to public transport.
Responsibilities
  • Cut, fit and assemble materials for installation and production
  • Interpret technical drawings, plans and schedules
  • Collaborate with management, team members and suppliers
  • Use software systems to track and improve processes
  • Safely operate equipment, hand tools and power tools
  • Conduct quality compliance and safety checks
  • Liaising with other team members to ensure you have all that is required to fulfil the project.
Skills and Experience
  • Relevant joinery, cabinet making or shop fitting trade certificate or equivalent
  • Construction White Card, Driver’s License and a clean driving record (last five years)
  • CNC machinery experience an advantage but not required
  • Ability to work as a team and maintain focus while working autonomously
  • Legal rights to work in Australia
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
