Our Team
A successful team is not simply a collaboration of individual personalities, attitudes, experiences, or behavioural styles. It is a shared mindset, a strong structure, with a supportive environment that empowers each person toward a compelling goal.
Meet the team who set the culture of our workplace, ensuring the success of your next project.
From little things big things grow.
With his Apprenticeship completed and his current employer moving on from the industry, Christian Simpkins was faced with a decision. Look for work in an existing company or start his own.
River City Cabinets began in September, 2001.
With hard work, determination and diligence, River City Cabinets started to build traction and has seen consistent momentum and growth.
Slowly & deliberately adding people to the team, River City Cabinets has expanded from a one man sole trader and grown confidently into a thriving company with competent and successful tradesmen, eager & engaged apprentices and an efficient and friendly office team.
The journey has seen many challenges and opportunities for growth over the past two decades. Fragile financial markets, global financial crisis, international trade disruptions, COVID-19 pandemic, product shortages, to name a few, the adventure has been quite epic.
Continuous investment in technology and machinery has kept us on the front foot. With the big investment in CNC Machinery and software in 2007, River City Cabinets has pushed forward into the age of technology. Working alongside industry professionals, we have gained over two decade’s worth of experience in both commercial and industry fit-outs.
We use the best possible materials for each job, making the most of the latest finishes and trends, products and hardware.
Each day our team are looking for ways to build things better, create an efficient and healthy workplace and build a profitable business that sustains growth and the continued retention of a first-rate team.
We look forward to seeing more of this adventure unfold.

We take what we do seriously.
